Michelle was born and raised in BC, and relocated to Calgary in 2004. Her Mom, a nurse and her Dad an RCMP, blended to create A naturally good person with an instinct to help people!!
Growing up it seemed that many friends were using pot. Michelle, being a curious person, tried it out. Of course” in secret” as being a cop’s daughter would make this look really bad. (Maybe a bit of a rebel you say?)
Thus some “experimentation” happened, as I’m sure some of you can relate!! Back then nobody really knew much about pot except that it could get you high and it was illegal.
Once her daughter Haley came along all that stopped!! Back to the law-abiding citizen and Mom to a little human. Need to make a good impression on growing minds you see!! For a few years anyway……
For many of these years Michelle had an interest in the natural healing properties of plants & spices, and began working with pure plant extracts and essential oils.
She is a strong believer in natural healing and clean living, using more natural alternatives to chemical products in the household as well.
Michelle has not only been a recreational user but also has been a medical cannabis user for a many years and has had great success.
She has been researching and educating herself, and has found that terpenes, which are what gives plants their smell , taste and healing effects on the body, are very much the same between cannabis and all other plant extracts.
Michelle has found this very exciting and has been working on using the two to compliment each other.
Michelle was working as a denture technician for 10+ years and decided to leave that job to pursue a more fulfilling career in the cannabis industry. She decided to open a cannabis store when legalization was introduced. What an exciting time to be alive!
Michelle now has an extensive background in Cannabis and holds many Cannabis Diplomas including CTU Master Budtender, CTU Cannabis Cultivation Pro, CTU Cannabis Processing Pro, as well as Level 1 and Level 2 of the Canna Reps Cannabis Sommelier Course. She also presently has her ACMPR.
She is very excited to be able to encourage people to learn about the benefits of cannabis.
